Since 1967, Antek has been a global leader in lab and on-line elemental analysis instrumentation and custom chromatography instruments that detect sulfur and nitrogen/sulfur compounds. Beginning in 1968, Antek established a reputation for listening and responding to customer needs by designing and manufacturing gas chromatographs. In the mid-1970s, Antek developed and patented a chemiluminescent detection method for the analysis of chemically-bound nitrogen. Patents for several sulfur detection methods and one for nitrogen/sulfur detection soon followed. Although there have been several generations with significant improvements and interfaces with other technologies, these basic testing methods are still used in Antek nitrogen and sulfur detectors and analyzers
